Vintage Hotel Wedding
This Vintage Hotel wedding started off at Queens Landing but quickly moved to one of our favorite places: Stratus Vineyards. The shift from classic to contemporary made this wedding uniquely beautiful for many reasons. Mike and Julia (who looked stunning by the way) were a joy to hang with and their love for each other was crazy passionate. Even though you can’t predict the weather Julia was totally prepared. Rain or shine – her wedding day was gonna be epic no matter what. I’d usually say unfortunately it rained, but it wasn’t unfortunate at all. We ended up at the incredible Exchange Brewery in downtown Niagara on the Lake. We were able to capture some hot, steamy, unique, and amusing images there for sure. The funniest moment was when we were outside shooting them through the front window of the brewery. We were wielding gigantic golf umbrellas to protect our gear from the rain as well as to create some shade to shoot cleanly through the glare of the window. Out of nowhere a massive gust of wind blindsided us and Jenny’s umbrella flipped inside out. She was immediately in a desperate struggle against the wind and Mike and Julia burst into gut-busting knee-slapping laughter. It took me a moment to clue into what was so funny and I’m glad I just kept shooting. As always the team of amazing Vendors can be found at the bottom of this post and we couldn’t do what we do without them.
Mike and Julia, we wish you a lifetime of joy together and we appreciate you choosing us for your big day. It was truly a privilege.
You are loved!
