Nick and Mel’s wedding brought us from the beach on Lake Erie to a barn in the rolling Niagara Shorthills. Yet ironically, the tractor made its appearance on the beach – what are the odds!? This day was super fun right from the get go, and we expected nothing less from these two. We’ve had the pleasure of shooting Mel’s family before at their lakeside home in Port Colborne, so we already knew this wedding would be great. Always a blast to spend time with people who don’t take themselves too seriously and know how to celebrate.
The outdoor ceremony took place at White Meadows Farm in Pelham (on the outskirts of St. Catharines). Lucky for us, Mel’s dad has excellent taste in vintage cars so we were able to take an extreme amount of pictures with his 71 Corvette Stingray. C’mon, isn’t that one sick car? We’d love to borrow it… just throwing it out there. 😉
Like we’ve said, it was a real pleasure to be part of this wedding! Mel – you looked absolutely stunning and you really know how to cut a wedding cake (love that crazy face!) Nick – glad we got to capture your farmboy roots and you really rocked that Corvette – maybe your father in law will let you take it for a spin… maybe.
Thanks again for letting us be a part of your big day, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness and adventure.
You are loved!
Shane & Jenny
