If you want an urban downtown session – St. Catharines is a phenomenal choice. It features a ton of cool nooks and crannies and distinctly interesting spots that make shooting there a ton of fun. It’s a sweet choice for a freestyle session – meaning we just walk around and hunt for the magic sauce.

Do you love being by the lake, strolling on the beach, or walking through wooded trails and open fields? Firelane No 1 has all this and so much more. It’s always a winner! It’s also a great place to linger after your session and have a campfire by the water – so bring supplies!
We love this spot, especially in the fall. It just seems to come alive with the rich autumn colours. It features a walking trail along the 12-mile creek, a sweet overlook of the water, fields, woods, and so much more. Sunset engagement photos here are the bomb!

Genridge Quarry Naturalization site is a lush eco-park that is just around the corner from Brock University. From its trails, rolling hills, ponds, to its lush greenery, the quarry offers some serious variety. The park also has a pretty fantastic hilltop view!
This is one of our go-to spots for winter Niagara engagement photos but we have used it in every other season also. The evergreens are pure magic during or after a nice snowfall. In the summer months, you’ll have to pay for a day pass as the campground is open.

Ok, this isn’t the typical spot but don’t scroll on just yet. It is pretty awesome in its own right. From the massive parking lot, the billboard alley on the hill, the giant bleachers, vintage buses, or the track itself – there’s much to explore here folks. Check it out!
Rockway Glen is epic – period. This place is not only an incredible hiking spot but sessions here are a blast. It is a feast for the eyes and the natural beauty is just jaw-dropping. If waterfalls and giant rock walls are your thing, this is the place to be. Bring your hiking shoes!

We know Lake Gibson is pretty big so where exactly is the spot? We typically shoot at Mel Schwartz Park. It has a brilliant boardwalk on the water and some great trails in the forest to explore. It’s definitely a terrific choice!
