Chris and Mary Dawn are the calm, quiet type of people who totally soak in and savour every moment. In fact, that was the theme of almost every speech and kind word spoken about them that day. And it was the reason they were so willing to venture into the cold, sleeveless dress and all, to get some special images down by the lake at Queen Victoria Park. It was freezing, it was raining but these troopers were more than willing to sacrifice for the shot! We took such joy in just watching them throughout the day.
We started out the day at the beautiful St. Catharines Cathedral with its ancient organ and dramatic ceilings, and ended the day dancing it up big-time at the Pillar & Post Hotel. Even we were busting out a few moves (it really does help with the shot!) to the soulfully delightful sounds of The St. Royals.
Thanks for giving us the privilege of documenting your day Chris & Mary Dawn! We know your life in the windy city will be full of great moments and we can’t wit to cross paths again!
