We had the most amazing time photographing Michal and Melissa in this super fun and hip fall downtown St. Catharines engagement session. We couldn’t wait to share the images with you and let you see why we love these two gems.
We had a blast walking the streets of downtown St. Catharines with these two looking for those perfect spots. You know, the nooks and crannies off the beaten path like alleyways, gated-off areas, and even the bus station. Downtown was the perfect backdrop for this super fun laughter-filled engagement session, and these are two people we’d have no problem hanging out with on the regular. We love the unique vibes of being downtown in that urban environment. The atmosphere, the architecture, the hustle and bustle, mixed with the seedy gritty areas filled with graffiti and well… sometimes garbage. haha
Throughout the session, we made it a priority to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for these two. It’s important to us that our clients feel at ease and can just be themselves. We believe authenticity shines through in the images when you make every effort to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
We desperately wanted to just keep on shooting but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The sun started to fizzle out and we eventually ran out of daylight. All in all, this downtown St. Catharines urban engagement session was an absolute blast! We love the last low light shot in front of the Performing Arts Centre better known as the PAC. It’s sessions like these with people like this that remind us why we fell in love with photography in the first place. We’re truly grateful to be a part of these magical experiences and to have new friends like these two.
