Intimate Wedding | Stoney Creek
We started off this beauty of a day with Neil and Jenna at Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek. After a little exploring, we found the perfect little wooded area for their first look. We got Neil into position and went to fetch Jenna. Her excitement was off the chain. As she eagerly walked through the trees towards Neil you could feel the electricity in the air. And lo and behold, the moment Neil turned to see his bride-to-be – fireworks! Their love for each other was certainly infectious and reminded Jenny and me of that wonderful day we tied the knot a few years back.
It’s always a heartwarming and emotional experience to be privileged enough to share these rare and iconic moments with our couples. If you don’t feel serious joy in your soul in these moments, you need to check your pulse. After exploring and photographing these two gems in the park we headed back to the ceremony site at a close friend’s home in Stoney Creek. There’s nothing like an intimate wedding with only your closest peeps on hand. It just seems to be more raw and genuine from our experience. Filled with love and all the fine details the ceremony was brilliant and full of laughter. Although a smaller wedding than we normally shoot, this one certainly didn’t disappoint.
